We make every attempt to ensure your satisfaction with your experience at Mathis Salon and Spa. In the event you are not completely satisfied, please let us know at time of service or within 24 hours of completed service.
Right to Refuse
Mathis Salon & Spa reserves the right to refuse service to anyone demonstrating inappropriate behavior to any member of our team or other guests.
Walk In’s
Mathis Salon & Spa is "By Appointment Only'. No Walk-In Appointments will be accepted.
Appointment Lengths
We never want our guests to feel rushed. When planning your day, please be sure to leave plenty of time for your salon & spa services. A typical color and cut service will last 2-4 hours depending on level of stylist and desired outcome. Adding specialty services such as toners, glazes, keratin treatments can further extend your time. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out and call or text us. All appointments are secured with a credit card on file and mandatory booking fee.
Blow Out & Finish
All color services come with a basic blow out, except our Mini color services. If you have long or thick hair, there will be an additional charge due to time for blow drying and styling. Should you want a flat iron or curl style, that is an additional charge as well. All is discussed at time of consultation and quoted before ever stylist performs any service.
Forms of Payment
We reserve the right to change prices and services at any time without notification. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, Debit Cards, American Express, HSA, FSA, Cash, Care Credit, Cherry and Afterpay Payments. We do not accept Checks, Visa or Master Card Gift Cards. Please note: if using Care Credit, Cherry or Afterpay, a transaction fee of 4% will automatically be added at checkout.
Gift Certificate & Gift Voucher Policy
We are honored whenever a guest purchases a Gift Card to Mathis Salon & Spa. Purchased Gift Cards/Certificates never expire.
Gift Voucher's are our way of giving back to the community, schools, guest gifts, etc. Vouchers are issued by Mathis Salon & Salon and only redeemable for hair services. Voucher's are not valid in Medspa or for retail. Voucher's are valid for up 90 days unless otherwise stated from the date of purchase and must be presented at time of service.
* Copies of gift certificates/voucher's are not acceptable.
* Please call Mathis Salon & Spa concerning lost gift certificates.
* All gift certificates/voucher's are non-refundable. Not redeemable for cash.
* Gift certificates are valid at Salon Mathis only for all products and services available.
* Gift Voucher's are only valid for hair services.
* Gratuity can not be given with gift certificates or voucher's.
Refunds, Re-Do's & Adjustments
We want you to love your experience with us! Mathis Salon & Spa guarantee of all of our services when you purchase the recommended regime to maintain your look at home. If you are unsatisfied for any reason, please let us know within 24 hours for hair services and 5 days for skin services of your visit so we can make any adjustments necessary.
All services are non-refundable but we will be more than happy to schedule a corrective service free of charge in the event you have purchased recommeded products to properly care for your hair and skin and you are unhappy as we guarantee all of our services when you purchase the recommended regime to maintain your look at home.
The service must be a mistake from the service provider... not something you might have changed your mind (after the service has been performed). In case of a disagreement, a redo must be validated by management. You have 24 hours/hair or 5 days/skin to contact the Salon to receive a complimentary service to adjust any dissatisfaction. Corrective services will not be allowed 5 days past initial service date. It is important you contact the Salon as soon as you are unhappy so we can schedule you As Soon As Possible for a corrective service by the same service provider that performed initial service.
WE HAVE A STRICT NO REFUNDS POLICY ON ALL Booking Fees, Services, and Retail products sold.
****Please keep in mind, using box color or going from Darker to Lighter tones may result in more than one service to achieve your desired result.
****For injections: Adjustments of any kind - toxins, fillers, etc will only be added IF recommedations at initial visit were followed.
Extensions
All hair extension guests are required to have a consultation before scheduling. All extension services are prepaid in advance.
Friend, Partner, Spouse, and Child Policy
Only scheduled guests are allowed into the salon. A child or person with special needs who is receiving services may be accompanied by one parent, guardian, or caretaker. We understand how challenging it can be to find time to spend on yourself. We also know that your “me time” may not always align with your salon appointments.
We love children and hope you understand that we have a strict NO ADDITIONAL GUESTS AND NO CHILD policy. We also do not want to compromise the relaxation and salon experience for our guests. Mathis Salon & Spa stylists and staff are dedicated to providing each of our guests with the highest level of service possible. While this policy helps ensure that all guests enjoy a relaxing salon experience, it was created with your child’s safety in mind. Our salon is not child proof. Sharp implements, hot styling tools, chemicals and a busy, congested area make for a potentially dangerous environment for young children. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding with our no child policy.

Credit Card & Booking Fee Required
At Mathis Salon & Spa, we aim to provide the best experience for all our guests, and implementing a credit card requirement and booking fee requirment helps us achieve that. Credit card information is required to secure your appointment & will be safely collected & stored with Phorest. Charges will only occur if Cancellation, Rescheduling, or Late Arrival Fees apply

Our professionals dedicate their time, expertise, and preparation to each appointment. The booking fee ensures that their efforts are respected and valued, even in the rare case of a missed appointment.
4. To Maintain Premium Service Standards
By reducing appointment gaps, this policy helps us maintain a high level of service and availability for all clients, ensuring a consistent and exceptional experience.
5. Booking Fee Transparency
The booking fee is applied toward your service total at the time of your appointment, so you’re not paying anything extra—it’s simply a way to secure your reservation.

New Guest Scheduling Policies
Mathis Salon & Spa is always welcoming new guests! Our New Guest Packages are specifically designed to provide the best possible experience for first-time guests. Currently, a la carte services including haircuts, and/or any single service outside of our New Guest Packages are exclusively offered to established guests. First time MATHIS SALON & SPA guests are offered New Client Packages & can schedule hair cuts and other stand alone appointments after their first visit. All New Guests are required to schedule a New Guest Package.
Scheduling Policies
Your appointments are important to us! To ensure smooth scheduling, please review the following policy:
Cancellation & Rescheduling

Please notify us at least 24 hours in advance to cancel or reschedule.

Late cancellations (less than 24 hours) will incur a 50% fee of the service cost, and the booking fee will be forfeited.

No-shows will be charged 100% of the service cost, and the booking fee will not be refunded.
Booking Requirements

A non-refundable booking fee is required for all services.

The fee must be paid within 48 hours of booking, or the appointment will be canceled.
Late Arrival

If you arrive more than 15 minutes late and cannot be accommodated, it will be considered a no-show, and a $75 fee will apply.
Repeated Cancellations/Reschedules

Canceling more than 3 consecutive times may result in denial of future services, loss of loyalty points, and forfeiture of booking fees.
Saturday Appointments

Missed or canceled Saturday appointments cannot and will not be rescheduled on a Saturday. Future appointments must be booked Monday through Friday during 'non-peak' service hours. (1pm-4pm)
Service Adjustments

Changes to booked services must be made within 3 days of scheduling.

Changing services (e.g., switching from color to cut) at the time of your appointment may incur a Service Change Fee due to schedule adjustments for the provider.

Booking fees are applied toward the service cost, provided all policies are followed.

Fees for cancellations or no-shows do not roll over to future appointments.
Personal Items
Mathis Salon & Spa is not responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged personal items. We provide capes for guests to wear during color services to protect clothing. We do not have a lost and found and all items found at end of day will be disposed of.
Mandatory Online Forms and Your Arrival
All Documents and Forms must be completed online 48 hours before your scheduled appointment. If forms should not be completed 24 hours before your scheduled appointment, our system will auto-send one last time. If not completed within time frame, system will automatically cancel your appointment. Any deals, discounts, or promotions you had will automatically be canceled and can not be used. All booking fee's paid will be forgeited and not rollowed over to next appointment.
Complaint Policy
Customer satisfaction is of the utmost importance to us, however, if you were not fully satisfied with a service you received from our commission stylists please let us know before you leave salon, as all sales are final. Service prices are nonrefundable. Please see our Service Guarantee above.
Product Refunds
Unused/unopened retail products may be credited within 24 hours of purchase pending management approval. Products can be exchanged for equal value but will not refund. No cash/credit refund.
Head Lice
It is against Mathis Salon and Spa Policy and Texas Department of Licensing to perform services on guests with head lice. If a guest has been diagnosed with head lice while receiving a service in the salon we would not be able to complete the service the same day. We would be able to complete the service within 72 hours once the head lice treatment has been completed.
Wifi & Personal Devices
We are happy to offer free wifi to our guests. Please feel free to bring your laptop tablet, or ipad to your appointment. To continue the relaxing environment, we ask that all ringers be turned off and that devices used on silent or headphones. Please do not facetime on your phone while you are inside Mathis Salon & Spa.

Information collected from this site is only used if we need to contact you for further information regarding your appointment. We greatly appreciate your cooperation in providing us with your contact information.
